Advanced Therapies Supporting Recovery, Performance, and Long-Term Physical Health

At Barrios Neurosport Institute, our rehabilitation and performance programs are supported by a wide range of advanced regenerative therapies, recovery technologies, movement restoration techniques, and performance assessment tools.

These modalities allow our clinical team to accelerate tissue regeneration, restore movement quality, optimize physical performance, and help patients recover safely and efficiently.

Each therapy is selected and integrated into personalized treatment plans based on the individual’s condition, physical goals, and stage of recovery or performance development.

These therapies focus on stimulating the body’s natural biological repair mechanisms and restoring the health of connective tissues such as ligaments, tendons, fascia, and joints.

Manual Interstitial BioRemodeling Therapy (M.I.B.)

Manual Interstitial BioRemodeling (M.I.B.) is a specialized hands-on regenerative therapy developed to stimulate the biological repair processes within connective tissues. By applying precise mechanical stimulation to the interstitial tissue network, this therapy activates fibroblasts responsible for collagen production, improves fascial elasticity, and restores healthy communication between cells. M.I.B. therapy helps reduce pain, improve tissue mobility, and accelerate the regeneration of ligaments, tendons, fascia, and surrounding structures.

Shockwave Therapy (Focused & Radial)

Shockwave therapy uses high-energy acoustic waves to stimulate biological repair mechanisms in injured tissues. These waves promote cellular activation, increase blood circulation, stimulate collagen synthesis, and encourage the recruitment of regenerative cells within damaged areas. Shockwave therapy is widely used to treat chronic tendon injuries, ligament damage, fascial restrictions, and other musculoskeletal conditions that require accelerated healing.

Spine Decompression Therapy

Spinal decompression therapy is a non-invasive treatment designed to gently relieve pressure on spinal discs and nerves. Through controlled mechanical traction, this therapy creates space within the spinal column, allowing intervertebral discs to rehydrate and reduce nerve compression. It can help relieve conditions such as herniated discs, bulging discs, sciatica, and chronic lower back pain while restoring healthier spinal movement mechanics.

These therapies help accelerate physical recovery, reduce inflammation, and support the body’s natural circulation and lymphatic systems.

CryoCompression Therapy

CryoCompression therapy combines localized cold therapy with controlled compression to reduce inflammation, limit swelling, and accelerate recovery in muscles and joints. This therapy helps regulate blood flow, decrease tissue irritation, and support faster recovery following intense physical activity, injury, or rehabilitation sessions.

Regulatory Fluid Compression

This therapy uses advanced pneumatic compression technology to improve circulation and support the body’s natural fluid regulation systems. By promoting both vascular and lymphatic flow, it helps reduce tissue swelling, remove metabolic waste products, and enhance recovery of fatigued muscles and connective tissues.

Recovery MAX Protocol

The Recovery MAX Protocol is an integrated recovery system that combines multiple regenerative and circulation-based therapies to optimize the body’s recovery process. This protocol is designed to accelerate tissue repair, reduce muscular fatigue, and help individuals regain physical capacity after intense training or rehabilitation.

Massage therapies support muscle recovery, reduce tension, and improve circulation and mobility.

Massage Therapy

Therapeutic massage uses specialized manual techniques to improve blood circulation, release muscular tension, and enhance tissue mobility. It supports recovery from physical stress, helps reduce discomfort caused by muscle overload, and contributes to overall physical well-being.

Relaxing Massage

Relaxing massage focuses on calming the nervous system and reducing physical and mental stress. Through gentle rhythmic techniques, it promotes relaxation, improves circulation, and supports overall wellness and recovery from daily tension.

Sports Massage

Sports massage is a targeted therapy designed for active individuals and athletes. It helps reduce muscular soreness, improve recovery between training sessions, and maintain optimal muscle condition. This therapy also supports injury prevention by improving flexibility and tissue elasticity.

Movement restoration therapies focus on improving mobility, flexibility, and neuromuscular coordination.

Sport Stretching

Sport stretching is a dynamic mobility training method designed to improve flexibility, coordination, and movement efficiency. It helps athletes and active individuals prepare their bodies for physical activity while reducing the risk of injuries caused by restricted movement patterns.

Passive Stretching

Relaxing massage focuses on calming the nervous system and reducing physical and mental stress. Through gentle rhythmic techniques, it promotes relaxation, improves circulation, and supports overall wellness and recovery from daily tension.

BNI Yoga

BNI Yoga is a movement-based practice that integrates breathing techniques, controlled flexibility exercises, and mobility training. It helps improve body awareness, balance, and coordination while supporting relaxation and overall physical recovery.

These diagnostic tools allow our specialists to assess physical performance, identify biomechanical imbalances, and guide personalized treatment or training programs.

BioMarkers & Body Composition Testing

This advanced evaluation uses bioelectrical impedance technology to measure key physiological indicators such as muscle mass, hydration levels, metabolic rate, and body composition. These measurements help guide personalized training, rehabilitation, and wellness programs.

Performance & Functional Testing

Performance testing includes structured movement assessments designed to identify biomechanical imbalances, mobility limitations, and strength deficits. This information allows professionals to design personalized strategies to improve performance and reduce injury risk.

Speed Testing

Speed testing uses specialized technology to measure acceleration, reaction time, and movement efficiency. These assessments help athletes understand their performance capacity and optimize their training for improved speed and athletic output.

These training modalities support the development of strength, coordination, and athletic performance.

NeuroStrength Training & Weight Lifting

NeuroStrength training focuses on improving the communication between the nervous system and the musculoskeletal system. Through progressive strength exercises and coordinated movement patterns, this training improves functional strength, movement control, and overall athletic performance.

BioPOWER Program

The BioPOWER Program integrates running mechanics, agility training, and neuromuscular coordination exercises to help individuals improve movement efficiency and reduce injury risk. It is particularly beneficial for people rebuilding athletic capacity or recovering from recurring injuries.

BioPOWER Club

BioPOWER Club is a team-based athletic development program designed for sports clubs and organizations. It focuses on improving coordination, speed, movement intelligence, and structural resilience while promoting injury prevention and long-term athletic health.
